The SC Preferred™ 5 Shelf standard duty boltless shelving starter with no decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments. The shelves are open and adjustable in 1" increments, allowing four-sided access for maximum flexibility. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides strong support with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under load. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, creating a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The unit features a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and allows easy assembly without bolts, nuts, or clips. Decking is sold separately.
