The SC Preferred™ 4 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with no decking is designed for use in retail, commercial, and industrial applications, maximizing storage areas with various heights, widths, and depths to fit nearly every facility. Each add-on unit supports a maximum storage weight of 1600 lbs. per level and includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments, and an open design allowing four side access for maximum flexibility. The shelving features sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded, while double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, creating a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The chip resistant gray baked enamel finish ensures durability, and the unit requires easy assembly with snap-in components, needing no bolts, nuts, or clips. Decking is sold separately, and units can be expanded by joining add-ons for greater stability with less construction than bolting starter units together.
