The SC Preferred™ 2 Shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with no decking is designed to maximize storage area in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces. It supports a maximum storage weight of 1600 lbs. per level and features open shelves adjustable at 1" increments for versatile storage configurations. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments, all finished with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel coating. The shelving unit uses sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under heavy loads, and double rivet button stud construction secures perimeter beams into corner posts to eliminate back and side sway, ensuring structural stability. The open design provides access from all four sides. Assembly is simple with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, making expansion and joining units easier and more stable than bolting two starter units together. Decking must be ordered separately.
