The SC Preferred 3 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with no decking is designed to maximize storage area with a maximum storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, providing flexibility with an open design that allows four-sided access. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. The storage system features sturdy roll-formed steel framing and front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts to form a structurally secure joint, eliminating back and side sway. The shelf unit is coated with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish. Assembly is easy with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, and the design allows for easy expansion by joining units with greater stability and less construction effort than bolting two starter units together. Decking is ordered separately. The shelving complies with relevant industry standards and comes with a warranty covering manufacturer defects under standard terms.
