The SC Preferred 4-shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with no decking is designed to maximize storage capacity with a max storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, and the unit features an open design allowing four-sided access for maximum flexibility. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments, all finished with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel. Sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports prevents beam rotation under full load, while double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, creating structurally secure joints that eliminate back and side sway. Assembly is easy and tool-free, with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, and expansion is simplified by joining add-on units with greater stability and less construction effort than bolting two starter units together. Decking is ordered separately.
