The SC PREFERRED™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas with a max storage weight of 1600 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. It features durable and adaptable storage with open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts, forming structurally secure joints that eliminate back and side sway. The shelves are constructed with sturdy roll-formed steel framing and include smooth precut 5/8" thick chip-resistant particleboard decking finished with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel. The open design allows four-side access and provides maximum flexibility, while the assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips.
