The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize your storage area with a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. The durable roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, featuring 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The shelving unit includes sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking, shipped in two pieces, offering cost-effective solid decking. Open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, and the open design allows four side access for maximum flexibility, suitable for retail, commercial, and industrial applications. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability, and assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation, and double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, eliminating back and side sway for a structurally secure joint.
