The SC Preferred 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter kit with wood decking is designed to maximize storage area with a max storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suited for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, offering adjustable open shelves at 1" increments. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock into corner posts for a secure joint, eliminating back and side sway. The open design allows four side access for maximum flexibility. The shelving is constructed with sturdy roll-formed steel framing and front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load. The finish is chip resistant gray baked enamel, and the precut 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking provides a cost-effective solid surface; note that particleboard ships in two pieces. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips.
