The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize your storage area with a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level, making it suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments and provide four-side access, allowing for maximum flexibility. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams for secure structural support, with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under load, and double rivet button stud construction to lock perimeter beams into corner posts, eliminating back and side sway. The shelving features a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and easy assembly with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The sturdy, smooth 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking ships in two pieces and offers a cost-effective solid surface for storage. Dimensions and various height, width, and depth options accommodate nearly every facility area.
