The SC Preferred™ 3 shelf heavy duty channel boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. The durable open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, with 96"W double rivet channel beams providing extra support and preventing beam rotation under load. The shelving features easy assembly with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, and includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams, and front-to-back supports to eliminate back and side sway. The structure uses double rivet button stud construction to securely lock perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a stable joint. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish protects the roll-formed steel framing, while the sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking ships in two pieces, offering a cost-effective solid surface.
