The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces. It supports a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level and features adjustable open shelves at 1" increments. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load. Its double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically by 1" increments. The design allows four-side access for flexibility, and assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The unit has a chip resistant gray baked enamel finish and comes with a sturdy, smooth, precut 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking that ships in two pieces.
