The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage space with a maximum storage weight capacity of 1200 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial environments. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing for flexible configuration. The shelving unit includes snap-in components for easy assembly without the need for bolts, nuts, or clips. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides robust support, with front-to-back supports preventing beam rotation under full load. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each starter unit consists of rugged 2" x 1", 14 GA steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. The unit has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish, and the shelves are equipped with sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking, which ships in two pieces.
