The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize your storage area with a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams that vertically adjust in 1" increments, and sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking that ships in two pieces. The shelving has a chip resistant gray baked enamel finish and an open design that allows four side access for maximum flexibility. Assembly is easy and requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, utilizing snap-in components. The roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded, and double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway.
