The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments, providing durable and adaptable storage. The open shelves are adjustable in 1" increments and feature sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking, which ships in two pieces. The shelving utilizes a boltless design with snap-in components, requiring no nuts, bolts, or clips for easy assembly. Sturdy roll-formed steel framing offers maximum support, while front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming structurally secure joints that eliminate back and side sway. The unit has a chip resistant gray baked enamel finish and offers four side access for maximum flexibility.
