The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy-duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize your storage area with a max storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suited for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments for flexible configuration. The kit includes sturdy 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double rivet button stud construction locking perimeter beams into corner posts, and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. The open design allows four side access, providing maximum flexibility and ease of use with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips for assembly. Front-to-back supports help prevent beam rotation under load, and the chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish offers durability. The solid shelving surfaces are comprised of smooth, precut 5/8" thick particleboard, which ships in two pieces, providing a cost-effective decking solution.
