The SC Preferred 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage area with a max storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, commercial, and industrial applications. The shelving features open, adjustable shelves at 1" increments, allowing four side access for maximum flexibility. Sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, while front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load. The double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, eliminating back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically at 1" increments. The particleboard decking is 5/8" thick, chip resistant, smooth, precut, and ships in two pieces, providing a cost-effective solid surface. The entire assembly has a chip resistant gray baked enamel finish and requires no bolts, nuts, or clips for assembly, using easy snap-in components.
