The SC Preferred 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial applications, accommodating various heights, widths, and depths. Each level supports a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments and provide four-side access for maximum flexibility. The assembly is easy with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing offers maximum support, while front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full loads. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts to form structurally secure joints, eliminating back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically in 1" increments. The shelving features a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and a sturdy, smooth, precut 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking that ships in two pieces, providing a cost-effective solid surface.
