The SC Preferred 4-shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize your storage area and supports a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage ideal for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments. The unit offers easy assembly with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, with front-to-back supports that help prevent beams from rotating when fully loaded. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into the corner post, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically at 1" increments. The shelving has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish. The durable decking consists of sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard, which ships in two pieces.
