The SC Preferred 3 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage capacity with a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing for versatile configurations. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams for added strength and stability, which lock into the corner posts with double rivet button stud construction to eliminate back and side sway. The shelves are supported by sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking shipped in two pieces, finished with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel coating. The open design permits four-side access for maximum flexibility, and assembly is easy with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full loads, and the shelving comes in various heights, widths, and depths to fit nearly any facility area.
