The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage area with a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, and the kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 ga steel uprights punched on 1" centers along with double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts, forming structurally secure joints to prevent back and side sway. The design allows four-side access for maximum flexibility. Assembly is easy with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support with front-to-back supports that help prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. It has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking, which ships in two pieces.
