The SC Preferred 4 Shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments, and sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking that ships in two pieces. The open shelving design allows four-side access and the shelves are adjustable at 1" increments. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support with front-to-back supports that prevent beam rotation under full load, while double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts to form structurally secure joints that eliminate back and side sway. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability. Assembly is easy with snap-in components and requires no bolts, nuts, or clips. Warranty information is provided with the product.
