The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize your storage area with a max storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, commercial, and industrial applications. The kit includes sturdy 2" x 1" 14 GA steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments, offering open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments to provide four-side access and maximum flexibility. The shelving features a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking, shipped in two pieces, providing a cost-effective solid surface. The design includes front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load, and double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips.
