The SC Preferred™ 4 Shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed for retail, commercial, and industrial applications, offering a max storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. The kit includes a starter unit with rugged 2" x 1" 14 ga steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments, and sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking shipped in two pieces. The open shelves provide four side access and are adjustable at 1" increments. The shelving features a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Assembly is easy with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips.
