The SC Preferred™ 3 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage space in retail, commercial, and industrial environments. Each level supports a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing customization to fit various storage needs. The shelving features sturdy roll-formed steel framing with 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock securely into corner posts using double rivet button stud construction, which prevents back and side sway and supports fully loaded beams. The open design provides four side access for maximum flexibility. Assembly is simple with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The package includes a starter unit with rugged steel uprights and smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking, which ships in two pieces, finished with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel coating. Front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation, enhancing structural stability.
