The SC Preferred™ 3 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial applications, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments to allow open shelves to be easily repositioned. The open design provides four side access for maximum flexibility, and the system requires no bolts, nuts, or clips for assembly with snap-in components. Sturdy roll-formed steel framing ensures maximum support, while double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts to create structurally secure joints that eliminate back and side sway. The unit features a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and includes smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking for cost-effective, solid shelving.
