The SC Preferred™ 4 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces, accommodating various heights, widths, and depths. Each level supports a maximum storage weight of 1500 lbs. The open shelving design allows four-side access and features adjustable shelves that can be positioned in 1" increments. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The shelving system is constructed from sturdy roll-formed steel framing for maximum support, using double rivet button stud construction to lock perimeter beams into corner posts, creating a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically at 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish adds durability, while the solid decking consists of sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard providing a cost-effective surface.
