The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas with a maximum storage weight capacity of 1500 lbs. per level. It features durable, adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts, forming structurally secure joints to eliminate back and side sway. The shelving system allows four-side access for maximum flexibility and requires no bolts, nuts, or clips for assembly, enabling easy setup with snap-in components. It is constructed with sturdy roll-formed steel framing and finished with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel. The package includes smooth, precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking, providing a cost-effective solid surface.
