The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces. It features a max storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level and offers durable, adaptable storage with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The shelving has an open design allowing four-side access for maximum flexibility and easy assembly with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides strong support with double rivet button stud construction that locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint to eliminate back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish protects the steel, and the sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard provides cost-effective solid decking.
