The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1600 lbs. per level. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing customization of various heights, widths, and depths to fit nearly every facility area. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into the corner posts, ensuring a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The shelving features a chip resistant gray baked enamel finish and sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking. Its open design allows four-sided access, and assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips.
