The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments, allowing open shelves to be adjustable at the same intervals. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support with front-to-back beams preventing rotation under full load, while double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts to form structurally secure joints that eliminate back and side sway. The package features chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking, which ships in two pieces, offering a cost-effective solid surface. The shelving system requires no bolts, nuts, or clips for easy assembly, facilitating snap-in component installation and expansion by joining units with more stability and less construction than bolting starter units together.
