The SC Preferred 5 Shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas with a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It is suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial applications and features durable, adaptable storage with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The unit offers an open design allowing four-side access for maximum flexibility and easy assembly with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Various heights, widths, and depths accommodate nearly every facility area. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, with front-to-back supports preventing beam rotation when fully loaded. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically at 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability, and sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard provides cost-effective solid decking, which ships in two pieces.
