The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed for retail, commercial, and industrial storage applications, accommodating a max storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It features durable roll-formed steel framing with 14 gauge steel T posts punched at 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments, providing sturdy support and preventing beam rotation under full load. The open shelving design allows four-sided access for maximum flexibility and includes a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish. The structure employs double rivet button stud construction to lock perimeter beams into corner posts, creating a secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The package includes precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking in two pieces, providing a robust and cost-effective solid surface, and assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips.
