The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize storage with a max storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. It features durable, adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The kit includes sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation, and double rivet button stud construction that locks perimeter beams into the corner post for a structurally secure joint, eliminating back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. The shelving has a chip resistant gray baked enamel finish and comes with sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard solid decking, which ships in two pieces. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The open design allows four-sided access, providing maximum flexibility, and the unit can be expanded easily by joining add-ons for more stability with less construction than bolting two starter units together.
