The SC Preferred™ 3 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize storage area with a max storage weight of 1800 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments and provide four-side access for maximum flexibility. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments. The shelving features sturdy roll-formed steel framing, double rivet button stud construction that locks perimeter beams into corner posts to form structurally secure joints eliminating back and side sway, and a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish. The package includes precut 5/8" thick smooth particleboard wood decking for cost-effective solid shelving. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, allowing for simple expansion and enhanced stability compared to bolting two starter units together.
