The SC Preferred™ 4 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize storage area with a max storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing customization, and the easy assembly requires no bolts, nuts, or clips. The shelving features sturdy roll-formed steel framing for maximum support, with front-to-back supports preventing beam rotation under full load. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable in 1" vertical increments. The finish is a chip-resistant gray baked enamel, and the decking consists of smooth, precut 5/8" thick particleboard providing cost-effective, solid support. This shelving system accommodates various heights, widths, and depths to fit nearly every facility area, while the open design provides four-sided access for maximum flexibility. The kit allows easy expansion by joining units with enhanced stability and less construction compared to bolting two starter units together.
