The SC Preferred™ 4 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize your storage area with a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It offers durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments and allow four-side access, providing maximum flexibility. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The kit includes rugged 14 ga steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock the perimeter beams into the corner post, preventing back and side sway for structural security. Sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support and front-to-back supports help prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The shelves feature a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking, which ships in two pieces as a cost-effective solid surface. This shelving system is designed for easy expansion, joining units with more stability and less construction compared to bolting two starter units together.
