The SC Preferred™ 5 Shelf Standard Duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize your storage area with a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments for versatile configuration. The shelving system offers easy assembly with no bolts, nuts, or clips required, utilizing snap-in components for fast set-up. The open design allows four-side access, providing maximum flexibility, and units can be easily expanded and joined with more stability than bolting two starter units together. Constructed with sturdy roll-formed steel framing and front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load, it uses double rivet button stud construction to securely lock perimeter beams into the corner posts, eliminating back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched at 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically at 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability, and the sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard provides a cost-effective solid decking, which ships in two pieces. The shelving is compliant with industry standards and backed by a manufacturer’s warranty.
