The SC Preferred 5 Shelf standard duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas with a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. It features durable, adaptable storage with open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments and an open design allowing four side access for maximum flexibility. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. The unit has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard deck that ships in two pieces. Assembly is easy and requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, enabling simple expansion by joining units together with more stability and less construction than bolting two starter units together.
