The SC Preferred™ 3 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial applications. Each unit supports a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level and features durable roll-formed steel framing with chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish for adaptability and strength. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments and provide four-side access for flexible storage. The system uses double rivet button stud construction that locks perimeter beams into corner posts to form structurally secure joints, preventing back and side sway. Front-to-back supports help prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically at 1" increments. The package also features sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking shipped in two pieces for a cost-effective solid surface. This design allows for easy expansion and enhanced stability compared to bolting two starter units together.
