The SC Preferred™ 5 Shelf Heavy Duty Boltless Shelving Add On with wood decking is designed to maximize storage space with a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial applications. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments and feature an open design that allows four-side access for maximum flexibility. The shelving system provides easy assembly with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. It is constructed with sturdy roll-formed steel framing and front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts to form structurally secure joints, eliminating back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" intervals. The finish is a chip-resistant gray baked enamel. The wood decking is made of sturdy, smooth, precut 5/8" thick particleboard, which ships in two pieces. The product is designed for easy expansion by joining add-on units with greater stability and less construction compared to bolting starter units together.
