The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize storage space with a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves that are adjustable at 1-inch increments for customized configurations. The unit is easy to assemble using snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Various heights, widths, and depths are available to accommodate nearly every facility area. The open design allows four-side access for maximum flexibility, and expansion is facilitated by joining units with increased stability and less construction compared to bolting two starter units together. The shelving is constructed with sturdy roll-formed steel framing providing maximum support, along with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under load. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, creating structurally secure joints, preventing back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1-inch centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically on 1-inch increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability, and sturdy, smooth precut 5/8-inch thick particleboard provides cost-effective solid decking, which ships in two pieces.
