The SC Preferred™ 5 Shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize storage capacity with a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments to provide adaptable storage solutions suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The shelving features durable roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load, and double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, creating a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. The shelves have a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish, and the sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking ships in two pieces. This shelving provides flexible four-sided access and simplified expansion by joining units for enhanced stability with less construction than bolting two starter units together.
