The SC Preferred 5 Shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage areas with a max storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It is suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, offering durable and adaptable storage solutions. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments and the kit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, along with double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts for structural security, eliminating back and side sway. The shelving features a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and wire decking that allows ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and sprinkler water to pass throughout racks for improved fire safety. The starter unit is easy to assemble with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, and incorporates sturdy roll-formed steel framing and front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The wire mesh ships in two pieces. The unit complies with industry standards and includes a warranty as specified by the manufacturer.
