The SC Preferred 3 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage area with a maximum storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level. It is durable and adaptable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, featuring open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The unit offers easy assembly with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Constructed with sturdy roll-formed steel framing for maximum support, the shelving utilizes double rivet button stud construction to lock perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically at 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability. The wire decking allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, while sprinkler water can pass throughout racks easily, improving fire safety and potentially lowering insurance premiums.
