The SC Preferred™ 5 Shelf Heavy Duty Boltless Shelving add-on with wire shelving is designed to maximize storage capacity with a max storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The unit features durable, adaptable storage with open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments and easy assembly requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. It includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams that lock securely into corner posts via double rivet button stud construction, preventing back and side sway and ensuring structural stability. Sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, while front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability. Wire decking, which ships in two pieces, allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, facilitating sprinkler water flow for improved fire safety compliance. Expansion is simplified by joining units with greater stability and less construction than bolting starter units together.
