The SC Preferred 5 Shelf Heavy Duty Boltless Shelving add-on with wire shelving is designed to maximize storage area with a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments and the wire mesh decking ships in two pieces, allowing ventilation, visibility, and light penetration while enabling sprinkler water to pass through easily, enhancing fire safety. Constructed of sturdy roll-formed steel framing with 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams, the shelving provides maximum support and stability. Front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation, and the double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, creating a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish adds durability, and assembly is easy with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The open design allows four-sided access for maximum flexibility, and units can be joined for expansion with more stability and less construction compared to bolting starter units together.
