The SC Preferred 5 Shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage with a max storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. Easy assembly requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, utilizing snap-in components. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, while front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, creating a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically at 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish adds durability. Wire decking allows for ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and easy sprinkler water passage, enhancing fire safety and potentially lowering insurance premiums. The wire mesh ships in two pieces.
