The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock into the corner posts with double rivet button stud construction, creating a structurally secure joint that resists back and side sway. Constructed with sturdy roll-formed steel framing and front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under heavy loads, the shelves have a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish. The open wire mesh decking, which ships in two pieces, allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, and facilitates sprinkler water flow for improved fire safety.
