The SC Preferred 5 Shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial settings, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level. It features durable roll-formed steel framing with 2" x 1", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that are adjustable vertically in 1" increments. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments and allow four-side access, providing maximum flexibility. The open design with wire decking permits ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and enables sprinkler water to pass through easily, enhancing fire safety. Assembly is simple and requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, utilizing snap-in components and double rivet button stud construction that locks perimeter beams into corner posts to form structurally secure joints and prevent back and side sway. The unit has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish, and front-to-back supports help prevent beam rotation when fully loaded.
