The SC Preferred 4 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed for retail, industrial, and commercial use, maximizing storage areas with various available heights, widths, and depths. Each level supports a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs., with open shelves adjustable in 1" increments to accommodate different storage needs. The open design provides four-side access for maximum flexibility. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts for a secure structure, and wire mesh decking that ships in two pieces to allow ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and sprinkler water passage to improve fire safety. Assembly is easy and requires no bolts, nuts, or clips with snap-in components. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing and front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load. The shelving features a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish, enhancing durability and resistance. The product complies with fire safety considerations by allowing sprinkler water flow through racks, potentially lowering insurance premiums.
